What to Expect at Your Trial

Parents and guardians are welcome to remain in the studio and observe class.

We invite dancers to explore a variety of levels and genres through our trial class experience!

To begin, brows the class offerings below to find the best fit for your dancer. Classes are thoughtfully organized by level and age to support proper placement and progression.

For dancers interested in level 2 or higher classes, we recommend reaching out to our team for personalized guidance to ensure the most appropriate placement.

Once your dancer is registered for a trial, our staff will welcome you to the studio, provide a brief tour, and ensure your dancer is fully prepared for their class experience.

Ages 3.5 to 6

All of our dancers ages 3.5 to 6 (or Preschool/Kindergarten) start in our combination classes.

Ballet/Tap Ages 3.5 to 4.5

Ballet/Tap Ages 4.5 to 5.5/6

Ages 6+

Before Class

What should my child (or I) wear to class?

Athletic clothing with clean sneakers or bare feet. No special dance wear is required for a trial class!

When should we arrive for class, and where do we go?

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your class starting to park and get settled. Once parked, please visit the front desk and we will show you where to go!

What should we bring to class?

A water bottle is optional but welcomed!

During Class

Can parents/guardians watch class?

We welcome parents/guardians to observe class in-studio at the viewing windows or lobby.

What if my child is nervous or hesitant?

It’s completely normal for young dancers to be nervous for their first classes! We welcome students to watch class before they join in. Our teachers never force participation and offer gentle encouragement and praise to help students feel comfortable.

After Class

How do we register for regular classes?

Visit our front desk after class to ask questions, meet our team, tour the facility and learn about full-season classes. We’ll help you get started! You can also email us or give us a call. We are always happy to help!
